HEIDENHAIN’s new CNC product business development manager


insider - 150pxGisbertHEIDENHAIN CORPORATION announces the new hire of Gisbert Ledvon as Business Development Manager for HEIDENHAIN-brand controls in North America. With over 20 years of extensive corporate industrial machine business experience, Ledvon assumed this new position earlier this year and is responsible for growing the CNC control side of the HEIDENHAIN business in this region.

HEIDENHAIN’s CNC control models are referred to as TNCs and are growing in market share in North America. Ledvon is responsible for developing a strategy to drive technical value and commercial demand for the admired high-end TNC controls at the end user and OEM levels and reports directly to the new CEO David Doyle.

In addition, Ledvon is charged with leading a team of 5-axis machining, programming and technology specialists at HEIDENHAIN’s North American subsidiary in Schaumburg, IL.

Prior to joining HEIDENHAIN, Ledvon served as the Director of Business Development for many years, as well as the Applications Manager prior to that, both for GF Machining Solutions (formerly AgieCharmilles).

Born in Germany and beginning his professional training as an apprentice via the Tool and Die Vocational College in Olsberg, Germany, Ledvon has lived in the United States for many years, where he completed a business program at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management in Evanston, IL, in 2009.
